Alberta Ferretti
In 1968, 18-year-old Alberta Ferretti opened her own designer clothes shop called the Jolly Shop, offering brands such as Armani, Krizia, and Versace. In 1974, she launched her own label and in 1980, she and her brother Massimo started a manufacturing facility where her clothing lines were made. Ferretti also designed for Jean-Paul Gaultier, Rifat Ozbek, Narciso Rodriguez and Moschino. Continuing her success, she released two perfume labels in 1993 and 1995.
